Scotland’s Solway Firth is the UK’s first Landscape Connections project

“SCAMP is the perfect project to kick-start our UK-wide £150 million Landscape Connections initiative… our ambitions to support nature recovery on a vast scale.”

Eilish McGuinness, Chief Executive, The National Lottery Heritage Fund

“Led by Dumfries and Galloway Council, this long term, large-scale project is part of our 10-year strategic initiative supporting the UK’s world-class landscapes.

Barbara and Gabby co-designed the public engagement for SCAMP, meeting with activists and passionate lovers of nature across Dumfries & Galloway to explore what caring for the coastal environment might mean and identify priorities.
